Try the dough before you chill it; you will literally die.
I also have just tried adding butterscotch chips instead of chocolate chips. They taste so good with the peanut butter! That is why the pictures have butterscotch chips, not chocolate.White chocolate chips also might be good, depending on if you like white chocolate. I have never tried it, but I am sure to be attempting that soon!
Don’t be scared to improvise with these! I have messed around with this recipe so many times.
No Guilt, No Bake Peanut Butter Bars
Ingredients:
- 1 1/4 cups peanut butter
- 3/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 1/2 cups oats
- 1/2 cup flax seed
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/4 cup pecans (You can use any nut you wish)
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions:
Mix all of the ingredients until well combined. Line a 9-by-9 inch pan with parchment paper. Spread mixture in pan. Chill to set. It will take about an hour. Cut into sixteen bars. Store in refrigerator.
